Make Sure to Sign Up for Unemployment Benefits

During this pandemic the country faces, many will be out of work. Thousands of Laborers in Massachusetts have already been laid off this week. If you are laid off you should call the union hall (781) 321-6616 and let us know. Leave a message with your name, jobsite and contractor you were working for. Even if you were told the contractor would bring you back in a couple weeks it is imperative that our members sign up for unemployment benefits immediately. Govenor Charlie Baker has waived the one week wait time to collect. The unemployment office will be facing a high volume of applications. We encourage you to sign up online using the link below.

If and when your employer calls you back for work we kindly ask that you once again call and let us know you are returning to work.

Thank You and Be Safe.
